Rustic Summer Wedding in Washington State | Sugar Pine Barn

This rustic summer wedding was at Sugar Pine Barn at Tucannon Cellars in the little town of Benton City, Washington, and boy was this the sweetest day. The two were SO ready to get married, but I think what Tyler's mom said about their gallery summed it up; "Such a perfect day filled with so much love, laughter, and tears. I will never forget the joy and memories that will last a lifetime. These pictures say it all." Ashley and Tyler truly were the vibe this day. They love hard, and you can just see how much they were made for each other.

ASHLEY & TYLER'S SIMPLE RUSTIC SUMMER WEDDING DAY

Ashley and I went to high school together, so we've known each other for over ten years! I was SO excited and honored that she asked me to photograph their wedding. Ashley and Tyler met through Tinder. They both shared a love for traveling and being outdoors, and I love that for them. Five words they used to describe their relationship were spontaneous, goofy, respectful, supportive, and loving.

On the day of their intimate wedding, they had a first look, and Tyler started crying before he even saw Ashley. It was such a tender moment between the two of them. They also shared private vows before the ceremony, and more happy tears were shed. It was so special, and he cried again when he saw her come down the aisle for the ceremony. I really admired the way they kept things simple and personal, like the keepsake of her grandma's special handkerchief with blue flowers tied around her bouquet. Some of Tyler's family members are jewelers and custom-made Ashley's wedding ring, and her mom made the cupcakes.

I also have to talk about how they had the BIGGEST bridal party I have worked with- it was insane! Most of the groomsmen were brothers to either the bride or groom, which was really neat. We escaped the reception momentarily to catch the sunset and capture gorgeous golden hour photos in the orchard and fields. It was so special to not only be at my friend's special day, but I loved having the opportunity to create stunning photos for them to cherish for life.
