Better late than never.
This is officially my first blog post!! Wohoo for starting something new at the END of the year.
I've spent some time going over my favorite moments I've captured in 2019! Photography has become such a beautiful aspect of my life and I've loved getting to share it with so many people. It's been difficult trying to go through so many beautiful images to pick out my favorites. I hope you enjoy these highlights from 2019!

This was one of my early photos from this year and it truly reminds me of how proud I am of myself! Sometimes I question myself and don't feel like I'm as good as the other photographers I follow whose work I admire. However, I am constantly learning and challenging myself.

I went to Scotland and England this year! Holy smokes!!! I'm still in disbelief that I was there for three weeks, with my husband, mom, and toddler. This is one of my favorite shots from the Isle of Skye in Scotland.

March 2019 was my first wedding of the year! It was also snowing, which was bizarre. In fact, we had a crazy snow storm that was not typical for our area that seemed to last forever. It was also the week of birthday and the bouquet was a birthday gift from the husband that we ended up using for these bridal photos.

My beautiful friend, Sue. Really, she's more like a sister than a friend. She's also a fellow photographer and I was honored to do maternity photos.

I feel like this photo encompasses so many aspects of my style. Elegant. Timeless. Simple. Beautiful. This bride was 110% gorgeous that cathedral veil was gorgeous!

My Scottish highland cow! I name this cute guy (or girl) Washington. Fitting since that's the state I live in. I also had my husband pull over on the side of the road so I could get a picture. This one deserves to be printed and framed!

This wedding day was absolutely beautiful! Although it was SUPER hot, it was magical and the bride's dress was stunning.

My friend/sister, Sue, and I hosted our first styled shoot out in November. It was A TON of work, but the results were well worth it! We were able to collaborate with many small businesses in our area to bring together a create and unique styled shoot at an alpaca farm.

- I don't typically take senior photos, but when I do it's of my not so little, little cousin. And we have to go to downtown Portland of course! She's going to college next year, however she'll forever be a little 10 year old in my eyes.

One more from our trip to Scotland of my two more favorite people! They push me to be a better person and I've learned so much from them. I am grateful for the never-ending support of my sweet husband.

I'll end with this perfect faux bouquet! I was featured in a magazine with this image in December. This year has been incredible for me with my photography and I can confidently say that I AM SO PROUD OF MYSELF! I made goals in March and I’ve accomplished them above and beyond what I thought possible. I am eagerly looking forward to 2020!
