the love story that brought them here

Ciera and Shawn met during their first year of college at WSU. Two of their best friends in greek life were dating and introduced them to each other. From that night, the ship set sail. After a few months of talking & getting to know each other, Shawn made it official. They were inseparable during college and spent as much time together as possible. Shawn graduated in the winter of 2018. He moved back to the Tri-Cities and started working full-time. Then they did a long-distance relationship up until Ciera graduated in May 2020. Although it was difficult, they both were firm believers in "distance makes the heart grow fonder." They did a lot of visiting back and forth. Shawn would visit Ciera in Pullman for as many events as he could. In July 2020, Ciera made the move to the Tri-Cities, and they got their first apartment together. On June 5th, 2021, Shawn popped the big question!

The pilgrims fall dream wedding day

On a warm October day, Ciera and Shawn finally made things official on their dream wedding day. Shawn shed tears during their first look and while watching her walk down the aisle. We followed up their beautiful ceremony with golden hour photos that were to die for. Everything about Ciera was perfect- she was like a goddess. Her hair and lace-detailed dress were incredible. I'm honored that Shawn and Ciera trusted me to capture one of the most intimate times of their lives, and I'm so proud of how everything turned out.
